Harajuku has always been unique when it comes to fashion. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re sophisticated or bold. And if you want to upgrade or change your style, there’s no better time than the New Year!
We’ll show you the hottest and cutest spots to explore, what they sell, and why you should check them out. Are you ready to go on an adventure? Here are the fashion shops to visit in Harajuku!
Our first stop is Milk. One of Harajuku’s oldest Lolita brands, it sells clothing and accessories for girls and boys (under Milkboy and All-Land by Milkboy). Some of Milk’s popular patterns include pastels, plaid, and ruffles. There are chic bags, stylish berets, and comfy cardigans over a pleated skirt or suspender pants. Along with retro-inspired items, there are more modern pieces like alien pants and pizza slice shirts.
Each season has a theme brought to life through thoughtfully designed outfits. Want an example? Milk’s 2024 Spring collection includes strawberry and film patterns, perfect for a picnic date. What are you waiting for? Visit Milk’s store today!
Address: 6 Chome-29-3 Jingumae, Shibuya City, Tokyo 150-0001
Hours: Every day, 11 am to 8 pm
Next, we have something for designer enthusiasts. AMORE Vintage carries luxury brands like Dior, Cartier, and Gucci. These items are vintage second-hand products, so they’re both excellent quality and slightly cheaper.
Clothing includes Chanel dresses, Fendi Zucca trousers, and Christian Dior tops. While there are fewer options for men, you’ll find some nice jackets and shirts for anniversaries, birthdays, or late Christmas presents. All items are checked to make sure they’re authentic.
You’ll also find many accessories: Celine bags, Rolex watches, Christian Dior hats, Louis Vuitton scarves, and more. If you’re in the mood for something fancy or love vintage items but want to stay under budget, don’t skip AMORE Vintage Omotesando.
Address: 1F, 5 Chome-1-15 Jingumae, Shibuya City, Tokyo 150-0001

If you love the kawaii aesthetic, then 6%DOKIDOKI is your place. Once you step inside, you’ll be excited about everything cute, just like the phrase “doki-doki” itself! 6%DOKIDOKI outfits feature bright colors and eccentric designs. But the best part is the accessories: Monster Poach Friend merch, neon hair ties, and colorful jewelry. There’s also lots of adorable stationery, including stickers, phone cases, and keychains.
Besides 6%DOKIDOKI, the store carries other brands like Sebastian Masuda ART and KAWAII MONSTER CAFÉ. The café, now a pop-up event, is famous for its Hello Kitty collaborations and seasonal themes. The following Monster Christmas Cafe is January 5 to 8 from 12 to 7 pm.

Merch includes masks, stickers, and tin badges. And starting January 1, you can get the limited-time New Year Lucky Bag.
Listen Flavor has collaborated with celebrities like Hatsune Miku and creators like Mura Karki. They’ve also released collections to celebrate cartoons and anime, such as the Danganronpa series. We highly recommend this store if you like cute mixed with edgy!

Our final stop is PINK-latte, located in the SoLaDo shopping mall on Takeshita-dori. Here, we return to a more playful and innocent look. Think pleated skirts, oversized pants, and outfits inspired by school uniforms!
PINK-latte’s clothes have a cozy, youthful feel that is perfect for teens. There are plaids, plaids, and childhood favorite patterns, including teddy bears. And the best part? PINK-latte does sets to make coordination a lot easier!
PINK-latte has something for all occasions, including school ceremonies, dates, and parties. It has a retro flair and has both formal and casual attire. If you want to change your style but don’t want it to be too drastic, PINK-latte is the place to go.
Address: 1F, 1 Chome-8-2 Jingumae, Shibuya City, Tokyo 150-0001
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 8:30 pm, and Saturday to Sunday, 10:30 am to 9 pm (hours may differ for New Year)
The world of Harajuku fashion is a diverse one. If you didn’t know anything about Harajuku kawaii before, you’ll get a quick lesson with a trip to these stores. And with so many subgenres, you can try different aesthetics. Some stores, like Milk, carry a handful of styles to mix and match.
Harajuku is also about accessories. There are versatile bags, flashy jewelry, and cute merchandise. Sometimes they’re better than the clothing, though we don’t recommend buying too much stuff!
Finally, you’ll find items at a reasonable price. AMORE Vintage Omotesando’s second-hand products are less expensive than newer brand items. And all shops have sales occasionally, so you can save money and still be fashionable. The (fashion) world’s your oyster in Harajuku.
