The Pokémon center that most of us think of first appeared in the Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Blue version video games for the Nintendo Gameboy all the way back in 1996. Within the game world, the Pokémon Center is a place that trainers can stop by to heal their Pokémon, manage their party via their PC, and even battle and trade with friends on the 2nd floor. Two years later though, the world’s first real-life Pokémon center in Japan opened in Nihonbashi, Tokyo in 1998.

Since then, 11 locations have opened up across Japan and Singapore, with the United States location becoming Nintendo World in New York City. Temporary locations have also popped up across Europe over the years. These larger than life locations can provide any Pokémon fan the opportunity to experience the world of Pokémon as well pick up exclusive merch that you won’t be able to get anywhere else.

This winter is no different, and with Christmas right around the corner, there’s plenty of adorable holiday and winter-themed items to check out! Given the current state of the world, visiting the sunshine city for a shopping trip or stopping off for some Pikachu sweets at the Pokémon café unfortunately isn’t an option. We’ve decided to put together a list of some of the cutest items that you can get online to celebrate the holiday season in Poké-style!

Pokémon Christmas Wonderland Plushie – Pikachu

Everyone’s favorite electric type is rocking a super cute outfit to ring in the Christmas cheer this holiday season! With a festive top hat, scarf and jacket combo, Pikachu is looking nice and cozy! This little guy makes a great companion to the Pokémon cafe, or even as a surprise stocking stuffer.

He’s limited edition – so he’ll be hard to find and won’t be around for long, so if you feel like he would really make this holiday special for someone you love, we suggest that you catch him quickly!

Pokémon Christmas Wonderland Pins

Speaking of stocking stuffers this limited edition Pokémon Christmas Wonderland pin is the perfect way to commemorate the occasion! This cute little trinket features Pikachu and his festive starter palls Scorebunny, Grookey and Sobble all decked out in their very own Christmas outfits. This pin pairs perfectly with the Pikachu plush to make an unforgettable Christmas gift for the Pokémon fan in your life!

Pokémon Party Christmas Card

Getting your friends together for a Christmas party is more difficult now than ever before – but that doesn’t mean you can’t show your loved ones you’re thinking about them! This super cute Christmas card features the Poké-gang getting together to decorate their tree. Pikachu, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Eevee, Slowpoke and more are all here spreading their special brand of Pokémon cheer!

The best part about this exclusive Christmas card is that it can be stood up and put on display. Sending this card out to your friends is a great way to spread good vibes and keep everyone feeling festive even after the holidays have passed!

While we can’t take a trip to Pokémon Center Tokyo DX, or take a walk down to Tokyo Bay this year, we can make the best of our time apart by showing our loved ones that we care in special and unique ways! We hope this specially curated list of adorable Pokémon gifts will help spark some gift ideas and help get you in the festive Pokémon spirit!
