A fan of Disney? How about cute plushie Japanese mascots? If so then you probably love Studio Ghibli too, you did click on this article after all! And if you’re travelling to Japan soon and wondering where you can get Studio Ghibli goods? We’ve got you covered! Of course the Studio Ghibli Museum is somewhere you must visit if you come to Japan and they have a gift shop attached, but you have to buy the tickets months in advance sometimes! Don’t fret though, if you don’t manage to get tickets there’s plenty of other places to fuel your Ghibli plushie addiction!
The most accessible of these shops being Donguri Kyowakoku! This store literally sells nothing but Studio Ghibli goodies, and is pretty much everywhere with over 37 locations Japan wide! Their decor is also amazing and filled with endless photo ops too, so a definite must visit for Ghibli fans!
Some of the store locations have huge displays to take photos with like this life sized Totoro plushie complete with bus stop and all in their Hakata (Fukuoka) store.
Like seriously! Look how big and fluffy he is! We just want to cuddle him!!
In their Tokyo Sky Tree store they have this massive Catbus plushie complete with glowing eyes! How cute is that!?
Even the goods displays are beyond adorable with this Catbus plushie displaying little figures available for purchase!
Check out this display of Kiki’s Delivery Service goodies! The displays are all curated so beautifully it must take them hours to set up whenever there’s a change of display.
