This fluffy adorable golden retriever dog is one of the many kawaii characters from Sanrio. With his signature brown beret, he is incredibly popular not just in Japan, but also worldwide. In fact, Pompompurin is so popular that he has his own themed café in 4 locations across Japan: Harajuku, Yokohama, Nagoya, and Osaka!
Yes, it’s another kawaii themed café in Japan, just like the Gudetama Café and the Pokemon Café. Seems like Japan has a hobby in making kawaii character themed cafés, don’t you think?

From the first glance, both the exterior and interior of Pompompurin café is fully decorated with Pompompurin motifs that look so kawaii. The pastel yellow color and the Pompompurin statues that stand on display in the cafe are so instagrammable that you can’t miss taking a photo with Pompompurin there! Moreover, this cozy interior design will surely make you feel at home during your visit. So, you can be comfortable to stay there while enjoying your food.
It’s not a kawaii character-themed café without kawaii character food, right? Of course, just like the other character-themed cafés, Pompompurin café has a lot of photogenic food that will make your heart melt upon seeing them. In the Pompompurin café, you can try Pompompurin’s favourite pudding along with another kawaii and “healthy” menu!
