If you are a Walt Disney Pictures lover, you should know the classic movie Little Mermaid. With the main character Ariel as a mermaid princess in the kingdom of Atlantica and Eric as a human prince, the story tells us about a mermaid princess who falls in love with the human prince. The movie was created by Ron Clements and John Musker and first released on November 17th, 1989. This year marks the 30th year anniversary.
Like we know Japan is famous for its theme cafe, where you can find various types of themed cafes both permanent and temporary. In commemoration of the 30 year Anniversary of Little Mermaid, Oh My Cafe Group is holding a Little Mermaid limited-time pop-up collaboration café in 4 cities across Japan between September 21st, 2019 – November 10th, 2019 (Mark the date!!!). The cities include Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Sapporo. The first thing you have to note if you want to go there is you have to make a reservation, which you can do here. The price for reserving a spot costs ¥500/per person for up to 4 people on a single reservation.
The menus in this cafe will make you dive under the sea to enjoy an original menu based off of the beloved characters such as Ariel, Sebastian, etc. Don’t ask about the visual of each menus, because it’ beyond pretty and kawaii, you can see the pictures below.

If you order from the Drink menu you may take home a matching item such as an original coaster, bottle, or mug for an additional charge (while supplies last). Just note that some of these items may be sold out before the cafe ends.
Another important thing to note, customers who make a reservation will receive a FREE special gift. Those who make a reservation in advance will receive one original clear file A5 size (out of 30 designs). You can choose it upon arrival at the cafe, however, please be sure to collect your reward before leaving, as some designs may be sold out before the café ends.
