Little TGV

Little TGV, in Akihabara, is a blend of a maid café, izakaya, and a miniature train museum. Full of train collectibles and staff dressed in train conductor-themed maid uniforms, it offers a fun atmosphere! The menu features fried and grilled dishes, salads, and cocktails named after trains and train lines, all served with playful interactions. Despite the 500-yen (roughly $3) cover charge (with a “train ticket” as a receipt), it’s a great spot to enjoy a railway-themed meal in Tokyo!

Shirohige Cream Puff Factory

Shirohige’s Cream Puff Factory in Tokyo’s Setagaya is a must-visit for Studio Ghibli fans with its adorable Totoro-themed cream puffs. The bakery is owned by Hayao Miyazaki’s sister-in-law and officially recognized by Studio Ghibli! Inside, guests can explore the café upstairs and enjoy the famous cream puffs alongside pasta dishes or browse the bakery downstairs. We recommended making early reservations, as these treats are often sold out quickly!

The charming shop, decorated with Ghibli decorations and hand-painted artwork, immerses visitors in an especially whimsical atmosphere. The ground floor offers take-out options like homemade Totoro cookies.

On the other hand, the cozy café on the second floor provides a relaxing space to savor your treats alongside a selection of bread and drinks. If you’re a Studio Ghibli fan, Shiro-Hige’s Cream Puff Factory promises a magical experience that will leave you wanting more!
