Who are the Little Twin Stars?

Everyone knows about Hello Kitty and My Melody, but maybe some of you are less familiar with the adorable Little Star Twins? It might surprise you to know that this kawaii pair have been about since 1975! Σ(▼□▼メ) You’ve probably seen them featured on a lot of Sanrio related goods before, but maybe you’ve never felt the need to become a fan of this particular franchise? Well, we’re pretty big fans here at YumeTwins, so we thought we’d take the time to introduce you to them a little more, let you get to know them a little better and then maybe you’ll end up wanting to cute up your life with these cuties!

Of course, as twins these guys are brother and sister. The younger brother Kiki, and the older sister Lala! Did you know that they were both born on Christmas eve? In fact, to be more specific, they were born on Christmas Eve on the Omoiyari Star in the Dream Star-Cloud! That’s a little bit of a mouth full, right? A^-^) Their dream is to become the greatest, shiniest stars in the sky and so to do so they decided to travel all the way to Earth to become the best they could be!

Let’s get a brief introduction to both of these guys! First up is the Younger Brother Kiki! His most defining feature is his short baby blue hair (although he has been seen sporting a brown style too!). You wouldn’t think to look at him, but he’s actually pretty smart! In fact outside of star-fishing, his favourite hobby is to invent new things! Because of this he has a lot of curiosity, although this has lead to him being a little cheeky at times…

Next up is the Older Sister Lala! Much like her Younger Brother, Lala has eye catching coral pink hair (but she sometimes switches it up for a blonde look!). Despite being older her personality is a little bit more timid than her Brothers, but she’s pretty creative too! In fact, her favourite hobbies include writing poems, drawing and she’s pretty good at cooking too! In fact, she regularly looks for her Younger Brother… lucky Kiki!

Well, there you have it. A brief introduction to the kawaii Little Twin Stars! How do you feel about them now? Now you know a little more about them, how about cheering them on in becoming the best, shiniest stars they can be?!
