Are you a fan of Hello Kitty? This beloved cat character is a part of Sanrio, along with Cinnamoroll, Sumikkogurashi, and other adorable characters. Hello Kitty is incredibly popular all over the world to the point that it’s common for people to have Hello Kitty themed accessories. But, have you ever heard about the Hello Kitty Show Box?

The Hello Kitty Show Box refers to its Hello Kitty shaped (boxlike) building with a 100% Hello Kitty theme. It only recently opened on August 12th, 2019 in Awaji Island, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan and it is filled with a full lineup of artwork, dining, music, dancing, and other surprises. If we take a look at the building from the sky you can see Hello Kitty’s face from the air.

After following the story of Hello Kitty and her dream, a medley of songs, dances, and musical numbers are performed together in the Hello Kitty Dream Entertainment Show! Body Friendly Vegan Cuisine

Tired after the performance? You can enjoy delicious body-friendly vegan cuisine! The chef of this Hello Kitty restaurant, Hal Yamashita, has created an organic, healthy, and environmentally conscious menu so that you don’t have to worry about the nutrition, with many ingredients sourced from nearby Japanese farms. There are three different menus: lunch menu at noon, cafe menu in the afternoon, and dinner menu for the evening.

The Hello Kitty Show Box is open everyday, except Wednesday, from 11 AM until 8 PM. During weekdays, the Hello Kitty Show Box features three performances a day, while on weekends, it features four performances a day!

Interested in visiting the Hello Kitty Show Box? The ticket price ranges around 3,500-6,800 Japanese yen for adults and 1,750-3,400 Japanese yen for 4-12 year old children. Children under four are not permitted except on their special children’s day. If you buy the ticket in advance, you can get a discount up to 1,000 Japanese yen, depending on which ticket type you buy. The ticket prices include the Hello Kitty Dream Gallery, Hello Kitty Dream Entertainment Show, and the price of food performances.
